Existential paradigms: Penia or cornucopia
Focusing on a Horatian satire (II, 6), my work highlights the way in which is built, on distinct but convergent levels, the meaning of events having in the centre two mice: mus urbanus and mus rusticus. With transtemporal and transcultural valences, the story of their reciprocal feast facilitates an investigation of the Roman civilization instances and also outlines a moral philosophy sketch.
