Although initial data are limited, we can try to reconstruct the demographic dimension of some of the ancient Dacian-Roman towns and their administrative territories. In the case of the administrative territory (territorium) of municipium Tibiscum, the reconstruction we propose points to a population of 25-35,000 inhabitants.
